I was building a Mahogany staircase a few years ago and I wanted to keep the memory of the house, and I asked Doug to make this bowl out of the few extra balusters, Mahogany balusters that we had left over.
Now it’s just a wonderful memory, but the bowl is still here. It’s light. It’s strong. I love the way the light reflects off the different grains within it. And, yeah. It’s just a super bowl…”
